The Senior Design Expo gives undergraduate students the opportunity to showcase their innovative projects from across all six College of Engineering departments: biomedical; chemicals and materials; civil, architectural and environmental; electrical and computer; industrial; and mechanical and aerospace.
The project challenges students to work with real-world, open-ended, interdisciplinary projects proposed by industrial and research project sponsors. They learn and apply the engineering process: defining functional requirements, conceptualization, analysis, identifying risks and countermeasures, selection, as well as physical prototyping.
