Open your file(s) by: 1) Navigating to your local drive under This PC > Local Disk: (C: on COMPUTER NAME) > Users > username > Find folder in which your files are located in your drive. ** You should receive a pop requesitng access to your local drive on first attempt. Select Read/Write from the options.** 2) Open your cloud storage solution and download you file to the virtual desktop. Periodically save your work and upload a updated version to your cloud storage. Please try reseting the Citrix Workspace client from the bottom right corner taskbar. Right click on the Citrix icon and select Advanced Preferences. Click on Reset Citrix Workspace and then try the open link again on the webpage.
You may experience fluctating resolution issue when using certain applications. This seens more noticable with SolidWorks. The following are recommendations to aid this symptom. 1) Always work in full screen mode on the virtual desktop and the application window maximized. 2) Enable HIGH DPI settings on Citrix Workspace Client.
If you saved to a folder on your local drive that is not under C:\Users\username folder, this may be an issue with file permissions between the virtual machine and your local drive. Please retry saving your work under the recommended folder structure. We have also notice cases where the file was saved to C:\Users\username\Documents but does not appear using the File Explorer Documents shortcut. In this case, navigate by going to This PC > Users> username > Documents to see if the file is there.
