Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards
The College of Engineering Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Awards recognize graduates’ professional achievement in the field of engineering, exemplary leadership, demonstrated service to the University of Miami and/or to the College of Engineering, and demonstrated service to the community or public.
Award Ceremony
Awards will be presented at the 2019 Annual Engineering Alumni Association Homecoming Breakfast & Awards Presentation held on Friday, November 8, 2019 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Watsco Center Hurricane 100 and Fieldhouse (1245 Dauer Drive Coral Gables, FL 33146). Winners must be present to receive their awards.
Nominate Someone
To nominate someone for the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Awards, please fill out the online nomination form. If your nominee is selected for an award, or we need more information, we will contact you. Annual Alumnus/a of the Year Award
The Alumnus/a of the Year Award honors the achievements of University of Miami College of Engineering alumni who have brought distinction to the college and the profession. Please submit nominations for alumni who have led exceptional careers in their chosen field, made significant contributions to enhance the college, provided notable service to the community and the profession, and served as role models.
Young Alumnus/a of the Year Award
The Young Alumnus/a of the Year Award recognizes the early career achievements of our talented young alumni who have completed their undergraduate degree within the last 10 years. Please submit nominations for candidates who have made a significant impact in their field of expertise, including academia and industry; a commitment to mentorship; and notable service to the UM community and community where they live.
